All right, that concludes our weird little interlude into old Ramen Empire characters and the backdrop of the world behind Thieves Can’t. Thanks for putting up with it.

I think I have been trying to write about depression. Not deliberately. I don’t write with high concepts in mind. Whenever I try to do that, everything falls apart. I just sort of sit down and go when I’m writing, and it drives Zach nuts.

We’re gonna get back to more normal comics after this, hopefully on a Monday, our hypothetical update day.

Zach and I are trying a different method of creating comics. Instead of my writing scripts, I am writing prose and Zach is translating that to comic form. This means that there is going to be, at least for this arc, a fiction version of the story as well. I am not quite sure what to do with it, but it’ll exist.
